Product Description
The rock wool pleating and pressing machine is the core forming equipment in a rock wool production line. It is primarily used to perform longitudinal compression (pleating) and thickness compaction (pressing) on rock wool felt to enhance its fiber density, structural strength, and thermal insulation performance.
1. Function and Principle of the Creasing Machine
The creasing machine applies longitudinal compression to the secondary rock wool felt, causing the fibers to interlock in a three-dimensional pattern and strengthening the interlocking structure, thereby significantly improving the compressive and tensile strength of rock wool products.
It consists of five sets of fixed lower rollers and five sets of adjustable upper rollers; the compression ratio is controlled by adjusting the distance between the upper and lower rollers.
It supports a crimping speed ratio of 1:3 and features four adjustable speed settings to accommodate varying thickness and density requirements.
The angle of the inlet section is adjustable to ensure smooth entry of the felt and minimize fiber damage.
