The Rockwool Curing Oven uses natural gas as fuel and consists primarily of upper and lower conveyor belts.
The Rockwool Curing Oven conveys uncured wool felt through the upper and lower conveyor belts, applying pressure while simultaneously blowing hot air to dry it, thereby curing the binder in the secondary felt to form a finished product of a specific thickness. The distance between the upper and lower conveyor belts can be adjusted via a lifting mechanism to accommodate products of varying thicknesses. The Rockwool Curing Oven is equipped with multiple sets of air ducts. Each duct features special sealing structures at the junctions with the chains and chain plates, as well as between the ducts and chain plates, to prevent hot air short-circuiting and improve curing efficiency.

As insulation products pass through the Rockwool Curing Oven, they are held between upper and lower chain plates. Circulating hot air removes moisture and cures the binder. Upon exiting the oven, the product’s thickness remains at the set value. Additionally, the product’s flatness and the aesthetic appearance of the surface texture directly impact product quality. Our products demand high precision in flatness. To ensure compliance with national rock wool thickness standards, all five key components—upper and lower bridge frames, rail seats, tracks, chains, and chain plates—are fully machined and precision-assembled. The flatness accuracy of a 30/36-meter Rockwool Curing Oven must be within ±2 mm.
