Rock wool boards are manufactured from natural inorganic minerals such as basalt, dolomite, and slag. These materials are melted at temperatures exceeding 1400°C, spun into fibers through centrifugal force, and blended with eco-friendly binders and water-repellent agents. The mixture undergoes pendulum laying, compression curing, and precision cutting to form board-shaped thermal insulation materials. Its core value lies in Class A non-combustible fire resistance + high-efficiency thermal insulation + stable mechanical properties. It also offers advantages such as sound absorption and noise reduction, moisture resistance and corrosion resistance, and environmental friendliness with no toxicity. Standard Rock Wool Board: Fibers run parallel to the board surface, suitable for conventional insulation applications (exterior walls, roofs, equipment insulation).

Rock Wool Strips/Bands: Cut and flipped from rock wool boards, with fibers perpendicular to the surface. Tensile strength ≥0.08MPa, ideal for curtain walls and load-bearing steel structures.

Composite Rock Wool Board: Features surface reinforcements like aluminum foil, fiberglass cloth, or steel mesh to enhance moisture resistance and impact resistance, suitable for cold storage and humid environments;​

Fire Barrier Strip Dedicated Board: Density ≥140kg/m³, fire resistance ≥1.5 hours, specifically designed for fire compartmentation in buildings to block fire spread.

Production Process and Quality Control​

Core Process: Raw material screening → High-temperature melting (1400°C) → Centrifugal fiber spinning → Additive incorporation (binder + water repellent) → Pendulum/3D fiber laying → Pressure curing → Cooling and cutting → Final inspection → Packaging;

Key Process Highlights:

Pendulum Method: Layer-by-layer layering creates diagonal fibers, enhancing compressive strength and interlayer bonding;

3D Method: Mechanically adjusts fiber orientation for three-dimensional distribution, doubling compressive strength and peel resistance;

Eco-friendly processing: Formaldehyde-free bonding agent used, organic content ≤4.0%, compliant with E0 environmental standards;

Quality inspection: Each batch tested for thermal conductivity, density, compressive strength, combustion performance, etc. Slag ball content (>0.25mm) ≤6.0%, average fiber diameter ≤7μm.
